We’re so glad you’re here!

If you’re a mom in the midst of the beautiful, messy, and sometimes overwhelming seasons of motherhood, you’ve come to the right place.

The days are long, but the years are short. That truth has only become clearer to me as I look back on my own journey — raising three kids, now 15, 17, and 20 — and realizing how quickly each chapter passes. From sleepless nights and sticky fingers to curfews and college tours, every season has brought its own joys, lessons, and growing pains — for them and for me.

I’ve walked through those long, exhausting days of early motherhood when it felt like I was just surviving. And now, as I prepare to send my second daughter off to college, I’m in a new season of motherhood — one that still requires intention, connection, and a whole lot of grace.

I know what it’s like to look around at a busy, full life and still wonder, Am I being present for what really matters?

That’s the heart behind Rooted Family Living —born from my desire to simplify family life and be fully present with my family, to stop rushing through the days, and to help other moms do the same.

This space is a reflection of what I’ve learned (and am still learning) about intentional parenting, simplifying motherhood, and focusing on what lasts: relationships, memories, and faith.

My Mission

I created Rooted Family Living to support moms who want more than just survival in the busy seasons of family life. Whether you’re navigating middle school mood swings, endless carpools, or the bittersweet moments of preparing your child for college, my goal is to walk with you.

Here, you’ll find ideas, encouragement, and practical tools to help you build a home life grounded in connection, gratitude, and purpose.

Come On In

This space flows out of my real, imperfect life — from the school pickup lines and family dinners to the late-night talks and growing pains. Here, I share:

  • Tips to simplify family life so you’re less overwhelmed and more present
  • Intentional parenting strategies that build strong connections with teens and tweens
  • Ideas for meaningful family moments and traditions
  • Reflections on parenting through transitions and preparing for the next chapter

I don’t have it all figured out — but I’ve learned that being present is more powerful than being perfect.

Why It Matters

I’ve come to see how easy it is for the meaningful moments to blur together in the busyness of everyday life. But I’ve also learned — through trial and error — that even small shifts in how we show up each day can create space for connection, joy, and peace. Rooted Family Living was created as a calm and encouraging space where you can refocus on what truly matters.

This isn’t about adding more to your plate. It’s about creating breathing room for what matters most — and discovering joy in the ordinary.
